Tax-deductible vehicle donations provide life-saving funds for homeless & at-risk pets and can be made easily through our partners at “Give Hope a Ride” — a program of Casa Esperanza Endowment Foundation, Inc.
The best part? Donating your vehicle is easy!
Simply complete the online form or call the Give Hope A Ride office at 505.266.4427 and designate Animal Humane New Mexico as the beneficiary of your donation.
Give Hope a Ride accepts cars, motorcycles or trucks regardless of the condition and provides towing services for Albuquerque and surrounding areas. All you need is a clear title.
After your vehicle is sold at one of Casa Esperanza's monthly auctions, Animal Humane receives the net sale price. Your generous donation then supports numerous programs & services that provide vital resources for more than 20,000 New Mexico pets and people annually.

Casa Esperanza's only requirement is a clear title. If you are delivering your vehicle, they can help you fill out the title when you drop off your vehicle. If Casa Esperanza is towing your vehicle, the tow truck driver can assist you.
Please contact the Give Hope a Ride program at 505.266.4427 to discuss your options.
The law concerning vehicle donation tax claims has changed since 2005. Any vehicle sold for over $500.00 requires a 1098-C, which you will receive from the Casa Esperanza office after your vehicle has sold, if applicable. If your vehicle sells for under $500.00, you may use your donation receipt, provided by Casa Esperanza at the time of pick-up/drop-off, to claim up to $500.00.
